Europe – la segunda vez
June 19, 2008
Well I’m off again! With a quick stopover in Amsterdam I will arrive in Madrid for a quick two day reunion visit. Madrid was one of my favourite places last summer – easy to get around, modern, but the a definite hint of culture. I’ve missed the cheap beer, the all-night parties and the excellent eye candy! So after my favourite Spanish city and I have caught up, then it’s down to business in Pueyo de Jaca - two weeks of teaching English, making totem poles and mending scraped knees. After two weeks I travel across the country to Alba de Tormes to do the same thing all over again for another two weeks.
At the end of July I come to a crossroad – what to do for August? I’m considering everything from teaching English in Britian, volunteering in Romania, WOOFing (working on a organic farm), taking Spanish language course or picking strawberries in the UK. So stayed tuned for ‘where in the world is Hilary in August?’

Sounds like a lot of fun!!!
I am a Canadian (ex-Calgary resident) who fell in love with Spain (and even more, a Spaniard). I now work in a Spanish school in Córdoba. Have you ever visited the south?
Hope you have a great summer! Buena Suerte
